Thank you for inquiring into the possibility of an
investigation. Please note, we do not only investigate "hauntings",
but a full spectrum of activities and "myths" (as seen on
the home page) There are some things that need to be clarified before
anything else.
1. We will not come in and look for things with a
preconceived notion that a location is indeed haunted. We work on
the basis of debunking and disproving any possibility of the occurrence
first. Most activity can be attributed to simple things that may not
be realized by most people. Once that approach has been exhausted,
we will look at other causes and possibilities. This is not to say
we do not believe you, but must take this approach so as not to be
fooled and jump to conclusions, and deter any doubt from skeptics
or anyone later. All options must be debunked and ruled out before
entertaining the option of supernatural activity. This scientific
and skeptical approach is the most logical path towards proving any
findings and evidence without a doubt. Because
of this, we would prefer full access to all locations of the building/area
(attic, basement, crawlspaces, etc.)
2. While we are not independently wealthy, we do
not charge any payment for services. Donations are welcome, but not
requested, and we are not a tax exempt entity, merely a volunteer
group, so any donations would not be tax deductible. We are in need
of a couple of final items that are rather expensive, but would allow
much more results for investigations. Technology is expensive. Everything
we do is out of pocket. But again, we do not ask for, or expect anything.
3. We respect privacy, therefore, no information
that would disclose anything as far as a location or names would be
published or shown outside of the investigative group without written
permission.
4. Safety, both yours and ours is number one. We
do not care to jump into the middle of anything until we are fully
aware of all details and history. Likewise, we would not suggest you
to do anything in a self-help manner. Suggestions or advise may be
given after the investigation, on how to deal with a situation, or
how to approach it mentally and be more at ease, for yourself and
family members/employees.
5. Investigations are typically done between the
hours of 10:00PM and 4:00AM, and usually on a Friday or Saturday night.
However, we do like to arrive and see the location in daylight hours
first to observe any hazards that may exist. We would then begin setting
up, or return closer to late evening and set up and get started, depending
on the situation and surroundings.
6. While we understand the interest generated in
this field, we do not allow "spectators, non-resident family,
friends, media, etc" to be present during an investigation. For
your personal security, we may allow one person (adult) that resides/manages
the location to remain present with the base area during the night
if you so wish. Having other people present generates talking and
movement, and can contaminate any research being conducted. There
are however, rare occassions where an "entity" may be attracted
to a specific person, and if it is decided that it would increase
the likelihood of activity to have them present, this may be allowed
or suggested.
7. We have some technical equipment that is worth
a fair amount of money that is purchased from our own pockets, and
prefer a secure area to park and work in. Likewise, we are all honest,
normal, and professional people, with families and other responsibilities,
and for security sake we ask that any valueables or breakables of
concern be removed and stored in a safe place to avoid any issues.
8. We must know all details and any history of your
occurrences, and past history of the location prior to the investigation.
Likewise, we will attempt to investigate the locations history in
historical records if applicable, and share those findings with you.
This aids in knowing what is being dealt with, and whether or not
it is dangerous. It is also a good idea for you to document on paper
when occurrences happen, to see if there is a residual pattern. This
can increase the likelihood of catching and documenting evidence.
9. It is unfortunate, but the possibility of someone
playing games or trying to trick or scare members can happen. Any
such activity will not be tolerated. Please do not bother attempting
this act. We do this as a public service, with our own money, time,
and gas. Wasting this on a prank will not be taken lightly.
10. Please know that there can be several types of
hauntings, if indeed that conclusion is reached. Most are harmless,
and taken with the right mentality, can be amusing or intriguing.
There are also some that are outright evil and dangerous, and can
cause harm and worse to anyone involved with tampering with them.
We will discuss these details with you depending on the information
given during an initial visit so you understand a little more of what
is involved.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Next we will need to know some details of the occurrence
and location. Please include as much of this information as possible
in the request email when you send it.
1. What exactly is happening?
2. Is there a regular occurence, time or date, actions
that provoke it, persons that activity seems to occur around, etc.
3. What have you witnessed? (visible things, smells,
noises, feelings, personal injury/scratches/shoving, etc)
4. How long has it been happening?
5. Are there any people residing/working, or activity
in the location that fall under any of the following:
Children, teens, alcohol, drugs, abuse, demonology/devil worship/occult,
toying with Ouija board or tarot cards, old artifacts brought into
the location, death in the family or location, recent electrical work
or dangerous electrical areas, gas leaks or faulty heaters, flood
damage that could cause hidden mold, anything out of the ordinary
you can think of? All of these and other things can cause physical
and mental issues that might possibly explain away some activity.
(Two of us are Fire Captains, one is a Minister,
and all of us have extensive knowledge in some level of the equipment
or subject matter. So issues like electrical, carbon monoxide, mold,
etc can be just as dangerous healthwise as any paranormal activity.
Many of these things can cause dizziness, difficulty breathing, feelings
of dread, fear, anger, headaches, and even hallucinations. We will
not be upset if we end up only finding health hazards such as these
that explain the activity, if it assists your well being).
6. Some activity can and should take precedence over
other cases we may have pending. Please be accurate and honest with
your details, as they may be very important, and also determine how
soon we schedule a meeting.
7. There are many paranormal investigation groups
around these days. Once you have decided to have our group handle
your location, please do not contact or schedule another group during
this time. You are certainly free to have as many investigations done
as you wish, just don't have any occuring at the same time. Also please
do not share any details or information with another group until after
the investigation is done. This way, you can compare findings and
see if they match or not, then make your own conclusions as to what
to believe.
Please know that we will treat your case with confidence
and professionalism. We will discuss details with you throughout the
process, and give you honest findings, and copies of any evidence
at your request. Please know that there will be a team of people (usually
between 4 & 6) doing this investigation. If it is a residence,
you should make arrangements for everyone to stay the night elsewhere.
If it is a business, you may want a manager to stay there with us,
and then lock up when we are done. Some locations entrust us with
a key and leave it with us, but that is up to you. Just know that
it will be around 4:00Am usually when we are done. We may require
electricity for some equipment, but it would be a small amount, for
a laptop, camera, etc.
Once we are done, we will leave, making sure all
is well with the location and your approval, and over the next few
days, will study all the documentation we have gathered. We will then
contact you for a meeting to present our findings and our opinion
of such. Once this is done, we will provide contact info to reach
us should you want us back for a repeat investigation, have questions,
or need advice if further things happen. Keep in mind, many occurrences
are of a repeating nature, and occur on a time basis, (ie: once a
month, year, etc.) thus may require multiple investigations to find
any solid evidence. It is usually luck to be present when something
happens, and even more luck to catch it via evidence.
If you wish to contact us for an investigation, please
note the following email and contact us. We will respond back to you
and arrange an initial interview. Thank you for your interest.
