A banner presented by this year's Tournament Sponsor, Complete Meeting Management welcomes golfers to Tapatio Springs.

Lynda Blanton Palmer ('78) and Lyn Martinelli Bellows ('78) welcome golfers at the registration table.

Yvonne Tober Gonzales ('78) greeted golfers with a smile and presented them with their goodie bags before they headed out to the golf course.
The sky looked ominous, but Golfers were ready to play and braved the drizzle.... which turned to rain... then became a downpour. Golfers smiled, despite clothes that were soaking wet.

It wasn't long before golfers were running for cover... but last year's first place team, which consisted of Lynn Banowsky, Richard Fagan, Cody Kelley and Ray Kelley were determined to win again this year. They outlasted everyone and played 7 holes in the pouring rain. After they dried off, they relaxed, enjoyed some nachos, and relished their win.

Karen Lane Dicus ('78), Brenda Gloria ('78), Lydia Hollingsworth Mrzlak ('78) and Cliff Koehler ('81) convene by the Sponsor Board while they wait for the evening's planned festivities.

"Mac" McPartland ('78), Roger "Hutch" Smith ('79), Pat Villalobos Smith ('79) and Lydia Hollingsworth Mrzlak ('78) relax after a delicious Buffet Dinner and talk about old times at John Jay.

Golf Committee Co-Chairmen Barry Gardner ('78) and Paul Moose ('78) discuss the evening's upcoming events.

H.O.P.E. President Mike Hatchett ('78) and Barry Gardner ('78) thank attendees for their support.... as the Award Ceremonies begin.

This year's third place winners were friends of Koehler Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Larry Woods of Tapatio Springs Resort sits with Mrs. Shirley Schrieber as they await the presentation of the Schreiber Cup to this year's First Place Tournament Winners, the undefeated champions for the second year in a row.

Barry Gardner emcees the Auction

Evelyn Oeffinger, '78 (center) gets the winning bid and settles up at the Auction table.

A basketball autographed by David Robinson was a popular item to bid on.  The winner happily wrote his check and took home his prize.

"Mac" McPartlin walks away with Tim Duncan's Shoes, after a bidding war with another Duncan Fan. Mac was determined not to be out-bid by the man on the left! He coughed up the biggest bucks of the evening and walked away a winner.

H.O.P.E. Board members Lynda Blanton Palmer ('78) and Lyn Martinelli Bellows ('78) work with volunteers to tally the proceeds from the auction.

The evening ended on a sweet note, with everyone enjoying a big piece of the congratulatory cake, displayed by Pat Villalobos Smith ('79).
