Thanks to everyone who participated in our best tournament ever!  It was a beautiful day to play golf and competition was fierce on the green.  The buffet dinner was sponsored by the Mustang Band Alumni group and Mrs. Shirley Schreiber and son Dennis were the honored guests.  In addition, Mrs. Schreiber presented this year's first place tournament winners with the Schreiber Cup.  Dinner was delicious and afterward Silent Auction items went to the highest bidder.  There was also a live auction featuring higher-ticket items like Tim Duncan's shoes and a basketball signed by the John Jay H.S. Basketball champions.  The response from our guests was overwhelming.  The top bidder that night was without a doubt, the one and only Valorie Gardner Paugh ('76), whose winning bids  totalled over $1,000.00.  Valorie also walked away with Timmy's shoes.  A big thanks goes to Complete Meeting Management, who was our biggest corporate sponsor for the third year in a row!

In May 2003, we awarded a total of SEVEN SCHOLARSHIPS.  This accomplishment would not be possible without your support of the John Jay H.O.P.E. Golf Tournament -   Thank you!
